A Digital Day for SMEs
On Tuesday 3rd December from 9.00-4.30 at the Pembroke Hotel, Patrick Street, Kilkenny
Participants will be able to avail of 2 free short workshops during the day from highly experienced and high quality experts in their fields. There will also be opportunities for networking with fellow participants throughout the day.

Colin Baker, ‘Gadget Guru’ from TV3’s Ireland:AM show, will open the event. As a technology advocate and expert, an entrepreneur and business owner, Colin is ideally placed to share his wisdom, energy and expertise and in his own highly engaging and entertaining way. Colin has been keeping viewers up-to-date in technology on TV3 since 2002 and has 3 technology stores in Dublin www.backfromthefuture.ie
Conor Pope is a journalist, broadcaster and writer with a strong interest in consumer affairs. A regular contributor to TV and radio, Conor is the Irish Times correspondent for Consumer Affairs and has a wealth of experience in advocating for consumer rights.

On the day, participants will choose 2 from 3 workshop opportunities. Each workshop will last 2 hours – a laptop or tablet will be required.

The ACT Project ‘Advanced Communication Technologies’ is an INTERREG IVA cross-border Ireland-Wales project, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund 2012-2014.
