The Kilkenny CEB organises and delivers a wide range of enterprise training and management development supports to assist new and existing entrepreneurs to meet the challenges of running a business.
The range of training supports we offer typically includes a mix of one-day workshops, seminars, evening courses and comprehensive management development programmes. Training content is tailored to meet the needs of participants and some of the typical programmes we offer include:

• Start Your Own Business Courses, which give participants an introduction to all of the main issues encountered when starting up and running a business from researching and planning their idea through to compliance issues and accessing the finance
• Sales & Marketing Programmes. Making sales is the biggest challenge facing most small businesses.  Whatever you are selling, from a mobile phone to a meal, the basic approach is the same.  Our programmes provide participants with the techniques to develop a sales strategy and teach the communication skills, attitude and behaviour needed to implement same
• Financial Training. A solid financial base and structure is essential for any small business.  We provide training programmes which range from basic book-keeping through to cash collection, costing and pricing through to implementation of computerised accounting packages
• Management Training Programmes, which are aimed at developing the management capability of entrepreneurs and include Strategic and Business Planning, People Management, Time Management and Negotiation Skills
• ICT Skills Training, which range from an introduction to basic software packages which can be effectively used as business tools, through to e-commerce training
• Awareness of Business Compliance Issues, ranging from employment law through to taxation and health & safety issues for small business owners
