League Leader Developments
League Leader Developments, promoted by Gareth Hanlon specialise in the manufacture and supply of board games from concept through design to production. All games are patented to the extent which disallows any other board game manufacturer from reproducing any element of the League Leader board games. The games, manufactured by Hasbro, the world’s largest board game manufacturer are targeted at toy retailers and individual sports organisations. Gareth availed of a Feasibility Study Grant from the County Enterprise Board in 2006 to assist with the development of a soccer board game, which was customised for sale as a merchandising product for English and European Soccer Clubs, with the English Premiership Club acting as the prototype. Gareth is also investigating adapting the product for the promotion of the Irish language in primary schools, using a variation of the game based upon the sport of hurling. He is also currently participating on the South East Enterprise Platform Programme (SEEPP) for start-ups with fast growth and export potential.
